National Instruments ran an afternoon workshop introducing post-doctoral researchers to LabVIEW
LabVIEW is one of the several popular languages to control experiments and collect and analyse data. Instead of writing code line by line LabVIEW uses a visual approach where objects and commands are connected with wires. The user is presented with two views, one containing the code, the other showing a user front panel which allows easy placement of digital and analog displays as a well as graphs and buttons.
National Instruments ran an introductory workshop for CamBridgeSens researchers. Participants learned the basics of this graphical programming language, including best practice. They read data from a microphone, processed the signal and displayed it on the screen.
